This blog post has been sitting in my head since the beginning of the New Year.
In fact, I think I’ll post-date this post just so I can have a nice mile marker to look back on.
It’s a New Year.
And while I’m not always a big fan of New Year’s resolutions, I am a fan of New Year’s goals.
There’s something cool about the New Year. It feels like a giant reset button has been pressed. If anything, it’s the perfect time to reflect on your year, your life.
Looking back through a rear-view mirror can often give us an idea of what direction we are headed. Unlike the horizon before us, we can see much further in our past than the future we are only left to predict.
So where am I going?
I’m not 100% sure, but I can tell you that I am (we are) turning things in a different direction.
There are a few key points I want to hold myself to personally and professionally:
- Shed things that don’t add value (selling Live Theme for example).
- Stick to things that build into what I am already doing (or add value).
- Understand others more.
- Freedom to be myself.
I feel like adding more, but let’s not go overboard (could probably add that to the list, too – LOL).
So there you have it!
Let 2016 begin…
